Maggie Graham currently works as a Communication Consultant for her own consulting firm and has worked with clients such as Tree Pittsburgh, Grow Pittsburgh, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation. During college at Waynesburg University, she majored in Public Relations and Sociology. Post-graduation, Maggie participated in Pittsburgh Urban Leadership Service Experience (PULSE) and found a job with East Liberty Development, Inc. as their Communications Coordinator. From there, she began to do communications work with Tree Pittsburgh. In November 2013, Maggie launched her own consulting firm.

Maggie’s favorite thing about social media is that it connects us in random ways and offers us a larger community that we would have access to otherwise. In a professional manner, she believes that social media is a great way to connect with constituents, especially those who don’t necessarily read
e-newsletters. Social media can also reach people who don’t know about a particular organization.
